Types of Barn Ventilation

Barns may be ventilated in various ways. Below are different barn ventilation layouts. County Line supplies the equipment for these and other systems too. Find out today what options are available and will work best for you.

Cross ventilation uses fans located along one side of the barn to draw air across through the barn. Inlets placed along the opposing side of the barn control the air entering the barn. Fans are controlled in stages and operate at variable speeds in conjuction with the inlet settings.

Tunnel ventilation uses fans located at the end of the barn to draw air through the length of the barn. Inlets on the opposide end of the barn control the air entering the barn. Inlets along the side of the barn are closed. Length ventilation uses the wall inlets to draw air through the barn instead of through the opposite end of the barn.
